What is suguta valley?

Suguta Valley is a geographic depression located in the northern part of Kenya, in the Rift Valley region. It is surrounded by mountains such as Mount Nyiru and Mount Kulal, and stretches for about 120 km from east to west and 15 km from north to south. The valley is arid and receives very little rainfall, making it a harsh environment for human settlement and agriculture.

Suguta Valley is home to several nomadic tribes such as the Turkana and the Samburu, who have adapted to the tough conditions of the area. The valley is also rich in minerals such as salt, which is harvested from Lake Logipi, and minerals like limestone and gypsum.

The Suguta Valley is a relatively unknown tourist destination, however, it is becoming increasingly popular with adventure tourists who are attracted by its unique and rugged terrain. Visitors can enjoy activities such as hiking, camping, and wildlife viewing, as the valley is home to various species such as zebras, giraffes, and antelopes.
